ABC Construction

This class introduces high school seniors to commercial
construction and the different trades associated with
the industry — to include carpentry, plumbing, HVAC,
sheet metal electrical and more.

Taught using the nationally accredited NCCER
curriculum , Students receive their OSHA10 certification
and get hands on experience with tools and building
materials while investigating this much needed and

• Introduction to power tools, blueprint drawings,
rigging and construction materials.

• Utilize math in a hands-on application-based
manner relevant to the work being performed,

• Receive mentoring on soft skills, resume writing
and employability skills with mock job interviews.

• Opportunities to interact with construction
industry professionals throughout the term
